I've heard of ghosts. Good ghosts who wander the battlefields at night, guiding soldiers out of danger. You can see their omens everywhere. Omens, warnings of stray bullets and lurking enemies. If I was such a ghost, I would stay so close to you, you could feel my breath on your cheek.

The Fault in Our Stars just nearly lost me.

I’m alright with (fictional) pretentious teenagers, and I even handled the “doucheface” bullshit that everyone will turn into a new phrase, but really? I no longer believe in Augustus and Hazel and I never bitch about books like this.
